“Green Oath” Observed at Malabar College on World Environment day

In observance of World Environment Day, the Department of Management Studies at Malabar College of Arts and Science organized a thoughtful and inspiring program titled Green Oath, aimed at fostering environmental awareness and promoting sustainable living practices.

Under the powerful motto, “Protect the Nature, Protect the Home,” the event brought together students, faculty, and staff in a united effort to reaffirm their commitment to environmental conservation. Participants took a collective pledge to adopt eco-friendly habits, reduce their carbon footprint, and become responsible stewards of the planet.

The event served as a reminder of the urgent need to address climate change and environmental degradation. Through discussions and symbolic activities, the program encouraged the college community to incorporate green practices into their daily lives.

A faculty member remarked, “The Green Oath is more than a pledge—it’s a lifestyle commitment. Our aim is to inspire long-term behavioral change among students and staff.” The initiative reflects the department’s dedication to creating environmentally conscious citizens and aligns with global efforts to safeguard the Earth for future generations.
