The Department of Computer Science hosted a program titled “Cyber Shield,” on 12/09/2025 which successfully met its objective of raising awareness among students about the critical importance of cybersecurity and personal safety. Through a poster competition on “Foundations of Cybersecurity and Personal Safety,” the event effectively highlighted key concepts and the various types of cyber threats prevalent today, such as phishing, malware, and social engineering. By encouraging creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking, the program not only educated participants but also equipped them with valuable skills to navigate the digital world securely.
