The Department of Computer Science, in association with IQAC, Malabar College of Arts and Science, Moodadi, organized a paper bag distribution program titled **”CARRY GREEN”** on **13 July 2026** in the nearby locality.
The program aimed to promote environmental awareness by encouraging the use of eco-friendly paper bags instead of single-use plastic bags, thereby reducing plastic pollution and fostering sustainable practices among shopkeepers and the local community. As part of the initiative, students distributed paper bags to nearby shops and interacted with shopkeepers to raise awareness about the environmental hazards of plastic bags and the benefits of adopting biodegradable alternatives. The program received a positive response from the local community and reinforced the importance of collective efforts in building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment.
