“Inspire and Ignite: Teachers’ Skill-Building Workshop 2024” .The workshop organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Malabar College, Moodadi, was an enriching professional development session exclusively for the faculty of Malabar College and in collaboration with Ilahiya College, Cheliya. Led by Dr. NP Hafiz Muhammed, a former head of the Department of Sociology at Farook College and Calicut University, the workshop consisted of three informative sessions designed to enhance teaching practices.The event was inaugurated by Dr.Godwin samraj DP.The welcome address was delivered by vice principal Ms.Shahira MK and Principal Dr.KM Naseer provided the presidential address. The program hosted by ms.Amrutha from department of english.Felicitation was done by Ms.Priyanka ,the IQAC coordinator from department of computer science.

Changing Roles of Teacher: This session started with an analysis of historical evolution of the role of teacher from the primitive society to the modern society, explored the evolving responsibilities of educators in contemporary classrooms, emphasizing the shift from traditional lecturing to more interactive and student-centered approaches.
Effective Classroom Management: Dr.Hafis Muhammed shared practical strategies for maintaining a conducive learning environment, focusing on techniques for engaging students, managing diverse classroom dynamics, and promoting positive behavior.
Teacher as Mentor: The final session highlighted the crucial role of teachers as mentors, discussing ways to support and guide students in their academic and personal growth. This segment encouraged faculty to build strong relationships with students to enhance their overall learning experience.
The final session of the event was presided over by the esteemed College Principal, Dr. K. M. Naseer. The session commenced with a welcome speech delivered by Mr. Predeep Kumar TMK, Head of the Department of English. His address set a positive tone for the proceedings, highlighting the significance of the occasion.
A notable moment of the session was the release of the “Insight” Malabar Monthly Newsletter, which was formally unveiled by Dr. Hafis Muhammed. This publication serves as an important platform for sharing key updates and insights within the academic community.
As the session drew to a close, a certificate distribution ceremony took place. Certificates were awarded to all participants in recognition of their valuable contributions and involvement.
