READ A THON

As part of the Reader’s Day celebrations, the Droid Commune—the IT Club of the Department of Computer Science—organized a literary event titled Read-a-thon in the college library. The program aimed to promote reading habits and improve students’ communication and thinking skills.

The event began with a short talk by Mrs. Priyanka K.P., HOD, Department of Computer Science, who spoke on the importance of reading in today’s digital age. Fida Fathima, Secretary of the Computer Science Association, Droid Commune members, and Mrs. Rajula, Assistant Professor of Statistics, also attended.

Students from III BSc Computer Science participated by engaging in a relay reading of the article

“AI in Daily Life: The Invisible Assistant”, followed by a short reflection session. They later read selected books from the college library, encouraging quiet, focused reading.
